Over two decades of guiding clients through trauma, stress, and disconnection. I bring more than twenty years of clinical experience as a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. My background includes leadership as Chief Clinical Officer at Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Center, direct clinical work and program development at Passages Malibu, and specialized treatment of eating disorders at Bella Vita Treatment Center. Across these settings, I strengthened my ability to recognize how the body and mind express distress through symptoms and how those symptoms can become pathways to healing and resilience.
Experience
Ph.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology, specializing in trauma and resilience. I hold a Ph.D. in Depth Psychology with an emphasis in Integrative Therapy and Healing Practices from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where my doctoral research explored technology’s impact on identity and connection, as well as an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Conflict-Related and Other Trauma from Antioch University Los Angeles.
Education
Extensive training in evidence-based and integrative trauma treatments. My clinical training includes evidence-based and integrative models such as Trauma-Focused CBT, Internal Family Systems, Janina Fischer’s TIST model, the Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Model (RITTM), and certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional (Level II).
Advanced Training
In the sections below, you’ll learn more about how I work and the areas I specialize in supporting.
Specialties
Our bodies and minds often speak through symptoms, anxiety, fatigue, tension, or disconnection, that signal when something deeper needs attention. In therapy, I help clients listen to these signals with compassion, using evidence-based approaches to restore balance, resilience, and connection.
-
Find calm, stability, and confidence when life feels overwhelming.
Stress and anxiety often show up as racing thoughts, restlessness, poor sleep, or tension like a tight chest or shallow breathing. These symptoms are your body and mind’s way of signaling overload. Together, we use DBT, somatic awareness, and mindfulness to build resilience and create greater emotional stability and confidence in daily life.
-
Lift the weight of sadness and reconnect with your vitality.
Depression can feel like persistent sadness, loss of motivation, or heaviness in the body such as fatigue, aches, or disrupted sleep. These are signals that your system is asking for care and renewal. In therapy, I teach you to reconnect with yourself through mindfulness and self-compassion, fostering lasting relief. -
Heal from the past and feel whole in the present.
Trauma may linger as flashbacks, emotional numbness, or dissociation, feeling spaced out or disconnected from yourself and others. These experiences are signs of unprocessed pain needing gentle attention. Through trauma-focused and attachment-based approaches, I help you safely reconnect with your body and inner world to support healing and integration. -
Restore balance between your online world and your inner life.
Technology can affect both body and mind, leading to restlessness, sleep disruption, eye strain, or the drain of comparison and constant distraction. These signals often point to imbalance in your digital life. Drawing from my doctoral research, I teach clients to create healthier relationships with devices by cultivating mindful boundaries and restoring balance between online and offline living. This approach can offer a path to a deeper understanding of a world often obsessed with superficial images and transactional connections.
No matter how your symptoms show up, in emotions, the body, or relationships, therapy offers a path forward. Together, we can turn these signals into opportunities for healing, resilience, and a more connected life.
Support for Couples & Families
Because stress, depression, trauma, and digital challenges rarely affect only the individual, I also extend my work into the relationships and systems that matter most. Whether within families or between partners, healing at the relational level creates deeper connection, resilience, and lasting change.
-
Rebuild trust, deepen intimacy, and grow through challenges together.
Anxiety, trauma, or digital stress can strain even the strongest partnerships. I teach couples to understand the patterns that fuel disconnection, improve communication, and rebuild trust. Together, we work toward greater intimacy, respect, and resilience in the relationship. -
Strengthen bonds, improve communication, and create harmony at home.
Stress, depression, trauma, and digital stress often ripple through family systems. I help families strengthen relationships, improve communication, and navigate generational patterns that disrupt harmony. Working closely with parents, I address adolescent challenges while fostering healthier dynamics and deeper connections.
Whether in families or partnerships, therapy provides the space to heal patterns, nurture stronger bonds, and build relationships that support lasting well-being.
